What our team members have to say…

I was welcomed to the team.

“I have had the honor of working at CW Kitchens for the last 4 months and in this very short time I have had such an amazing experience. Right from day one I was welcomed to the team and I feel like I am part of the family that has been established here for so many years. The staff have  gone above and beyond in making me feel welcome, the training has been amazing and if at any time I need help from anyone in the office or the shop they are always there to answer any questions and lead me in the right direction. I am fortunate to have found a job that I love with such an amazing company, and am so grateful to have the opportunity to be part of the team here at CW Kitchens.”

Co-op in woodworking.

“For my first Co-op placement in the woodworking technology program at Conestoga College, I was unsure as to what I wanted to experience. Working at CW Kitchens for the past four months has given me the opportunity to take the skills learned in my theory and practical classes in my first year of school to learn more about the cabinet industry through the machining department. After being trained, I have been able to operate a number of machines while understanding the importance of each machine for developing cabinets, pantries, and vanities. I greatly enjoyed working at CW Kitchens and was happy to work with an amazing group of people.”

From start to finish.

“Working at CW Kitchens has been a great  experience for me as a student in the woodworking program at Conestoga College. I started working at CW in January of 2021 and then was asked to come back after I completed my summer semester. While being at CW kitchens I have worked in a few different departments such as sanding, shipping, quality control, and machining. Having seen how the different departments run I got to see what the process of making cabinets is from start to finish. Being able to put my knowledge and experience from what I have learned in college into what I do at CW kitchens has both improved my knowledge of the industry and has added to my skills at running machinery. I would say CW kitchens is an amazing place to work with great people.”

Custom finishing lessons.

“CW Kitchens has given me the wonderful opportunity to work in their shop and learn from them as I continue my schooling. At this time, I am working in the finishing department, sanding doors, trim, and all manner of custom kitchen parts before, and during, the finishing process. CW Kitchens being a high production kitchen design and fabrication company means they are working on tens of jobs a week with hundreds of cabinets being created and even more doors and parts along with them. Learning the ropes of high production has been a difficult transition, but the people at CW Kitchens have been extremely helpful and patient with me. They understand I am still learning and are taking this moment to teach me and help me understand the intricacies and variety of the finishing process. Although I am working in the finishing department, my learning isn’t limited to just that. While working in this shop, I am seeing and being taught every step towards a completed kitchen. Everyone at CW Kitchens is eager to share their years of experience and knowledge to help me learn as much as I can, and I am eager to put my new knowledge to good use. I am putting my all into the work I do at CW Kitchens to show my appreciation for everything they are doing for me. I will remember and value this experience for the rest of my life.”
